Thanks to all who competed and went various rounds of series as usual a very tight series only finalised at the last round.

DBRAA Club IN LIMBO
Following the December 2009 club meeting the members present /committee have put the club on hold
with perhaps it being re activated during this year.
As most long term members have possibly seen over the last few years we have had a gradual decline in membership as well as a lack of support for attendance at club meetings and the drag bike club series.
The decline in membership has made our club financially unviable.
The DBRAA would have to be one of the longest running drag bike racing clubs in Australia.
We have been going for 20 YEARS and it is a shame that it has to come to this.
Im hoping we can continue our club this year under a different format of some sort.
On behalf of myself ,the club committee i thank you all for the support and friendships that have developed
as part of participation in club events/meetings and socialising involved therein.
What we intend to try and do is complete the sale of the clubs remaining VP FUEL stocks
with the intention of raising enough money to give the “2009″ financial members a plaque
recognising either 20/15/10 year club memberships. More on this later.

We have not had an increase for about 8 years whilst the cost of every thing has sky rocketed as we all know this increase plus club elections are to be discussed at the upcoming Club meetings.
